Fresh from travelling to Japan for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, the Canadian Dressage Team will reunite to compete once again against world-renowned dressage competitors in a unique, team-based setting.

The Canadian Dressage Team will be supported by veterinarian Usha Knabe and Chef d’ Équipe Ashley Holzer.
The red and white will also be represented by individual CDI 4* athlete Ryan Torkkeli, who resides in Königsdorf, GER, and mount Sternenwanderer (Lord Loxley I x Ragazzo). The 15-year-old bay Rhenish Warmblood gelding, owned by Dieter Laugks, recently finished first at the 2021 Grand Prix de Deauville CDI 3*.
Sound of Silence 4 (San Amour I x Limes), who is owned by Gilles Bergeron and FEI Dressage World Youth Ranking – Young Riders eighth-ranked Camille Carier Bergeron will also compete in the CDI-Y event, which gives youth athletes invaluable international experience. Carier Bergeron, who resides in Mascouche, QC, is one of only 12 youth athletes worldwide invited to the World Equestrian Festival after a successful 2021 winter circuit. The bay Westphalian gelding and Carier Bergeron captured six blue ribbons together at the Adequan Global Dressage Festival in Wellington, FL.
