FEI Horse and Rider Registration
All riders and horses competing in FEI competitions must be registered annually with the FEI.
- Canadian horses and riders can obtain FEI Registration through EC’s FEI Registration Portal .
- All horses being registered for the first time are required to have a microchip compatible with ISO 11784 and ISO 11785.

FEI Authorization
In order to compete in competitions sanctioned by the FEI, athletes are required to complete and submit an Authorization to Compete request to EC at least three (3) weeks prior to the competition’s definite entry deadline.
