The Equestrian Canada (EC) Learn to Ride/Drive Program provides the opportunity for individuals of all ages to learn best practices for safe and enjoyable experiences handling, riding and/or driving horses.
Equestrians of all ages and experience are encouraged to get involved and choose their stream. The Rookie Riders and Learn to Ride/Drive pathways align with EC’s Long-Term Equestrian Development matrix, fostering the development of fundamental equestrian sport skills and building a strong foundation to support athletes whether they choose to pursue competitive or recreational sport.
Learn to Ride/Drive also serves as the foundation of EC’s Coach Status program.
