Road Horses, also known as Roadsters, are Standardbred horses prized for their speed over the tanbark. Standing at approximately 15.2 hands, they captivate audiences with their impressive speed and brilliance, as well as their distinctive show presence, attitude, and style. Their exhibitors showcase them at three distinct speeds of trot (jog, road gait and trot at speed) before presenting them in the center ring for final judging of conformation and manners.
The Canadian Road Horse Association is a non-profit organization that promotes the showing of registered standardbred trotters.
