Driving is the world’s oldest equestrian sport and continues to thrive today. There are five current driving sports, including Combined, Dressage, Draft, Pleasure, and Recreation Driving.
About
Drivers sit on a vehicle drawn by equines of any breed or size. Patterned after Eventing with three competitions, Combined Driving is intended to showcase the versatility, training and talents of both horse and driver. It consists of Dressage, Marathon, and Obstacle/Cones Driving. Like all equestrian disciplines, driving is a gender-neutral sport with men and women competing against each other equally.
