IMPORTANT REMINDERS – Due to the quality of 2022 video submissions making it difficult for our judges, we would like provide friendly reminder to ALL riders and coaches:
• Please have the person filming the test turn the camera, so that you can have a full screen and set the camera so the whole horse remains in the frame so that all movements within the video of the test are clearly shown for the judge.
• To avoid videos being rejected, have the person filming review the attached guidelines so they are also aware of the requirements.
• Riders must review their entry prior to submission and make sure all movements within their test are clearly shown for the judge. If the judge is unable to see the movement it will affect the end results and, in some cases, we may not be able to accept the video.
• Riders can always send the video link to Jamie-Ann Goodfellow – jgoodfellow@equestrian.ca prior to the deadline for review and feedback to allow you time to refilm the entry if necessary. The judge MUST be able to see all the test movements, should they not be able to it may impact the movement score(s).
• Riders should wear appropriate riding attire (i.e. jodhpurs) and gloves. Jeans are not allowed. Riders should be tidily dressed and avoid wearing loose jackets that conceal their position from the judge.
