The NAYC is the premier equestrian competition in North America for junior and young riders, ages 14-21. The young equestrians vie for individual and team medals in Olympic equestrian disciplines of dressage and show jumping.
The Dressage athletes that will represent Canada at NAYC 2022 will be:
The Canadian Dressage team will be supported by travelling Chef d’Equipe – Denielle Gallagher-Legriffon and non-travelling Chef d’Equipe – Courtenay Fraser
“This years’ NAYC teams are comprised of some of Canadas up and coming super stars! I can’t wait to be there with them and go for gold!” said Gallagher-Legriffon.
The Show Jumping team that will represent Canada at NAYC 2022 will be:
The Canadian Show Jumping team will be supported by Chef d’Équipe, Dayton Gorsline, and Team Manager Kelsey McDonell
“I’m looking forward to this year’s competition, we are going with a great group of competitors throughout all age groups” said Gorsline. “To mention a couple, two of our senior team members just won major international classes at Spruce Meadows, National tournament.”
