Jordan Steenbeek
Jordan Steenbeek of Woodham, ON, drove to the top of the leaderboard at the Grand Oaks CDE in Weirsdale, FL. On Jan. 29, he earned a score of 92.35 with the eight-year-old Oscar Stonecreek (Doaitsen 420 x Gerlof 294) and six-year-old Tyler Stonecreek (Marlow Stonecreek x Jurjen 303), a pair of Friesian geldings owned by Gerben Steenbeek, to take first in the CAI 1*-H2 division.
Erynn Ballard
Erynn Ballard of Tottenham, ON, emerged triumphant on Jan. 31 in the $10,000 CSI 2* NorthStar Tour Final in Wellington, FL. She navigated Equifit Salvatore 29 (Stakkato Gold x Dobel’s Cento), Alexandra Cherubini’s eight-year-old Hanoverian gelding, through a double-clear jump-off performance in 35.46 seconds to edge out Mexico’s Daniel Michan Halbinger and Karina R, who came within a hair’s breath of the time to beat with 35.98 seconds.
Austin Krawitt
On Jan. 31, Austin Krawitt of Okotoks, AB, helped his teammates on Ashland Team 2 – the United States’ Helen Graves riding Kafka du Printemps and Ty Simpson riding Quality Iris, as well as Germany’s Klas-Kristoff Kudlinksi and Charles 82 – to secure victory in the $25,000 Hermès Under 25 Grand Prix Series Team Event at the Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) in Wellington, FL. He and Sanjay (Canturo x Acord II), A.E.S. Equestrian, Inc.’s 12-year-old Slovak Warmblood gelding, topped the CSI-U25 Section C team competition with just one fault in 75.33 seconds to help Ashland Team 2 nab the win.
Jaclyn Duff
Jacklyn Duff of Edmonton, AB, and Venus du Gue (Cap Kennedy*Bois Margot x Quaprice BoiMargot Quincy *Quap), Windermere Stables Ltd’s 11-year-old Selle Français mare, topped the $8,000 Rushy Marsh Farm CSI 2* at WEF on Feb. 6. The pair jumped clear in 64.75 seconds to win the single round competition.

Two-time Canadian Olympian Tiffany Foster, 35, of North Vancouver, BC, rode her long-time partner, Brighton, to victory in the $73,000 CSI 5* CaptiveOne Advisors 1.50m Classic on Feb. 9 during week five of the Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) in Wellington, FL. A starting field of 53 combinations contested the first-round track set by American course designer Anthony D’Ambrosio with seven horses ultimately advancing to the jump-off. Foster doubled her chances of winning by qualifying two horses for the jump-off, Brighton and Galino. Foster rode Brighton, a 14-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding (Contendroll x Quick Star) owned by Artisan Farms LLC, first and stopped the clock in what would prove to be an unbeatable time of 34.59 seconds. Second place went to Ireland’s Bertram Allen and Lafayette van Overis, owned by Ballywalter Stables, with a time of 34.90 seconds. Foster finished sixth with Galino, a nine-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding also owned by Artisan Farms LLC.
Vanessa Creech-Terauds
Vanessa Creech-Terauds of Caistor Centre, ON, took top honours during the fifth week of the Adequan Global Dressage Festival (AGDF) in Wellington, FL. She and Hallmark (His Highness x Lancier), a 16-year-old Hanovierian gelding owned co-owned by Diane Creech and Louise Leatherdale, danced to the tune of 68.590% for first in the CDI-U25 Grand Prix Freestyle on Feb. 9.
Ava MacCoubrey
Ava MacCoubrey also found herself in the winner’s circle on Feb. 9 at AGDF 5. The Cobourg, ON, native piloted Chris and Lisa von Martels’s 17-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding, Belissimo (Bernstein x Solos Carex), to 71.100% in the CDI-Y Freestyle.
Eric Krawitt

Fifteen-year-old Eric Krawitt of Calgary, AB, was victorious in the $5,000 CSI 2* NorthStar Tour Welcome 1.30m on Feb. 11, during the Palm Beach Masters Series® in Wellington, FL. The son of Canadian show jumping team veteran Sandra Anderson, Krawitt was one of 45 entries to contest the two-phase class. Despite his young age, he claimed the win with a phase-two time of 26.87 seconds aboard High Jack, a 12-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding owned by AES Equestrian and purchased from Canadian Olympian Beth Underhill three years ago. Finishing in second behind Krawitt, who trains with Canadian Olympian Tiffany Foster, was Great Britain’s Blythe Masters, who stopped the clock in 27.90 seconds riding Damn Smooth for owner Peter Charles, who was a member of Great Britain’s gold medal winning team at the 2012 London Olympics.
The next day, Krawitt and High Jack returned to the winner’s circle yet again after jumping the CSI 2* NorthStar Classic Tour clear in 61.62 sceonds – less than half a second quicker than Ballard and Equifit Salvatore 29.
Megan Lane

Megan Lane of Loretto, ON, and Deer Ridge Equestrian’s Zodiac MW (Rousseau x Amethist) wowed the judges at AGDF 7. They clinched first place in the CDI 3* Grand Prix on Feb. 20, drawing a score of 70.935% from the judges.
Emilie Bussereau
Emilie Bussereau of Saint-Nicolas, QC, claimed back-to-back CSI 1* wins in Royan, FRA. On Feb. 19, she secured first by riding clear in 62.90 seconds aboard Helene Courcel’s Arpeggio II L (Arpeggio x Polytraum), an 11-year-old Westphalian gelding. The next day, Bussereau switched her ride to Cherry Typon (Diamant de Semilly x Kashmir Van’t Schuttersho), Annie Fournier’s eight-year-old Selle Français mare. Together, they topped a field of over 50 strong, riding clear once again in 65.18 seconds for the win.
Ali Ramsay

Ali Ramsay of Victoria, BC, enjoyed a banner week during the CSI 3* Desert Circuit V at the Desert International Horse Park in Thermal, CA. On Feb. 21, Ramsay and Lutz (pictured), an 11-year-old Westphalian gelding (Lordanos x Pilot) owned by Ramsay Equestrian Inc., topped the $40,000 CSI 3* Diamond Tour Speed class. The pair were the first entry on course in the speed class and set the time to beat at 69.70 seconds. None of the 37 entries who followed were able to catch their time, with fellow Canadian Keean White of Rockwood, ON, coming the closest with a time of 70.15 seconds riding Vampyr van de Rib for owner Alexandra Millar.
Ramsay returned to the ring on Feb. 23 as one of 32 pairs to tackle the challenge set by renowned Irish course designer, Alan Wade, for the $100,000 CSI 3* Diamond Tour Grand Prix, sponsored by Adequan. Eight qualified for the jump-off where Ramsay turned in the fastest time, 40.84 seconds, riding Casino, a 12-year-old Oldenburg gelding (Casiro 3 x Ludwig von Bayern) owned by Ramsay Equestrian Inc. The win marked the first grand prix victory of Casino’s career. The pair had also finished third earlier in the week in the $10,000 Diamond Tour Welcome.
Lindsey Paton
Lindsey Paton of Abbotsford, BC, topped the CSI 3* competition in Thermal, CA, on Feb. 27. She rode her 12-year-old Holsteiner/Thoroughbred-cross gelding, Capilano HF (Capone I x Colonel Rae XX), through a clear jump-off rode in a lightning-fast 29.37 seconds to best Richard Fellers and Mojo of the United States, who were just shy of the mark at 30.92 seconds.

At AGDF 8, Diane Creech of Caistor Centre, ON, piloted the 17-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding that she co-owns with Louise Leatherdale, Chrevis Christo (Chrevi’s Cavallo x Matador), all the way to the winner’s circle. The duo took home top honours in the CDI 3* Grand Prix on Feb. 27 with 67.935%.
Camille Carier Bergeron

Camille Carier Bergeron of Mascouche, QC, made a splash in the CDI-Y division at AGDF 8 with Gilles Bergeron’s 12-year-old Westphalian gelding, Sound of Silence 4 (San Amour I x Limes), scoring 73.837% for first in Feb. 29’s Individual Competition.
Scarlett Hansen
Also at AGDF 8, Scarlett Hansen of Outremont, QC, swept the Pony division with Rêve de Glatigny to be crowned 2020 Florida International Youth Dressage FEI Pony Champion. She and the homebred 15-year-old pony gelding started in the CDI-P Team Competition on Feb. 28 with 64.524% before moving on to the Individual Competition on Feb. 29 with 68.288%. Hansen and Rêve de Glatigny closed their winning run on March 1 with 66.869%.
Rebecca McGoldrick
Rebecca McGoldrick, a Canadian residing in Banbridge, GBR, bested nearly 100 other combinations on March 1 in the CSI 4* class in Vejer de la Frontera, ESP, after her time of 59.89 seconds riding clear with her 13-year-old Belgian Warmblood gelding, Horatio van Erpekom (Kannan x Udarco van Overis), proved untouchable.
