Sue’s goal has always been to see the sport of Eventing thrive and for it to be enjoyed by as many people as possible, and has taken a special interest in the development of young talent. The Knowlton, QC., native started organizing the Bromont three-day event in 1987, hosting multiple international events and Young Rider championships. She is one of the driving forces in Eventing, not only in Canada but also in South America.
A FEI Eventing Level 3 technical delegate and as an organizer, Sue has always placed emphasis on the excellence of the cross country course , through the fence design and safety, as well as footing quality. Sue has recruited the best officials, course designers and Technical Delegates with years of experience in the Olympics or World Equestrian Games.
For many years, Sue has officiated in North America and parts of Central/South America (Guatemala, Mexico, Ecuador, Chili), always striving to improve the quality and safety of cross country courses. Her latest project is the U25 Bromont Rising program, where she helps develop talented young riders.
