In addition to being a highly competitive three-day event held against incredible mountain scenery, each year it raises funds for its charitable initiative, Halt Cancer at X which supports breast cancer patient resources and research.
In the CCI 4*-S, Hawley Bennett-Awad of Aldergrove, BC, and Jollybo (Jumbo x Danzig Connection), a 18-year-old British Sport Horse mare she co-owns with JollyBo Syndicate LLC, placed fourth amongst a field of 20 athlete and horse combinations that competed in the three-day event. The pair finished with a score of 35.1 in the dressage phase, completed the cross-country course with a 37.9 to hold fifth place. On the final day, the duo had four faults and final score of 41.9.

Kerry Groot of Summerland, BC, and her own Borasco (Bravo x First Class), a 13-year-old Oldenburg gelding finished at the top of the standings in the CCI 3*-S. The pair began the three-day event finishing with a score of 38.3 for ninth place. In the cross-country course, the duo moved up to third place with a score of 43.9, they would jump clear and finish atop of the leaderboard with 43.9

Groot again would finish in the top two in the CCI 2*-L, this time in the saddles of her own Super Nova (Bravo x Pik Solo), a 11-year-old Oldenburg gelding. The duo would work their way up the leaderboard after starting in 11th in dressage, with a score of 33.1 to fifth place after cross country and finish with a final score of 33.1 after jumping clear in show jumping. Fellow Canadian Cristina Rennie and Flight of the Arabesque would finish in fifth place.
