The two Canadian youth eventing teams will be supported by Chef d’Equipe Kendal Lehari and veterinarian Dr. Usha Knabe.
“We are so incredibly proud of our riders and their equine partners. This has been another year of challenges due to COVID-19, including a late start to the season, and every single rider from across the province met each challenge with hard work, determination and dedication” said Lehari.
The Ontario athletes have been wonderfully supportive, raising just under $10,000 for the team to lower the costs to travel to Tryon. “They rallied together, cheered each-other on and fundraised, and held a very successful on-line auction, to make sure they had the support they needed for their team” said Lehari. “We are so very grateful for our sponsors, to the companies and individuals that supported our on-line auction, as well as other eventers in our community – we will ride with you in our hearts.”
