Tiffany Foster of Langley, BC, earned her first 5* MLSJ Grand Prix win on May 27 in front of her home crowd. Aboard Northern Light (Plot Blue x Contender), a 12-year-old Swedish warmblood mare she co-owns with Artisan Farms LLC, the pair jumped double clear and stopped the clock at 39.18. “It still hasn’t quite hit me, but I’m so happy and I’m so happy that this happened here at Thunderbird,” said an emotional Foster. Anna Swackhammer
Anna Swackhammer of Rockwood, ON, earned the victory in the CDIY Young Riders team competition in Ottawa on May 19. Aboard Fabienna GV (Fackeltanz x August der Starke), a 10-year-old Westphalian mare co-owned by Kristina Bennett, Melissa Sinclair and Jean Szkotnicki, the pair posted a score of 67.745%
A day later in the Young Rider individual competition, Swackhammer and Fabienna GV scored 66.422% and concluded the weekend with a 70.525% in the Young Riders Freestyle to Music.
Jacqueline Brooks
Jacqueline Brooks of Cedar Valley, ON, and Te Amo Q O S (Totilas x Rubinstein 46), a 12-year-old Oldenburg gelding owned by Mary Brooks, earned the winning ribbon in the CDI 3* Grand Prix Freestyle to Music on May 20, posting an impressive score of 72.580%.
Stephanie Gallucci
Stephanie Gallucci of Toronto, ON, competed and won the CSI 2* in Mill Spring, North Carolina on May 26. Aboard Jersey (Brainpower x Ramires), a nine-year-old Dutch Warmblood mare owned by Equine Partners International LLC, the Canadian pair finished with one time fault and a time of 73.12, but that was enough for the winning ribbon.
Leonie Bramall
After a sixteen-year hiatus, Canadian veteran Dressage athlete Leonie Bramall represented the maple leaf in the second edition of the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) CDI3* Olomouc event at the Equine Sports Center, just under 100 kilometres southwest of Ostrava, CZE from May 11 – 14.
The 59-year-old Bramall, who resides in Isernhagen, GER, aboard Cricket BD (Charmeur x Don Frederico), an 11-year-old Oldenburg gelding she homebred and co-owns with ZG Bramall-Dusche GbR, finished in fourth place with a score of 66.935% in the CDI3* Grand Prix on May 12.
Laura Hall
Laura Hall of Ladysmith, BC, earned multiple wins in the CPEDI 3* event in Pilisjászfalu, Budapest. On June 8, Aboard Myrtha, a six-year-old Dutch warmblood mare owned by Karen Pavicic, Hall scored 68.378% in the Para Grand Prix B IV. A day later, the Canadian duo appeared on top of the podium with a score of 65.000% in the Para Grand Prix A IV.
Alison Campbell-Wright
In the CDIJ in Sherwood, OR, from June 1 – 4, Alison Campbell-Wright of Victoria, BC, earned the winning ribbons in two classes. On June 2 in the Junior Team Competition, Campbell-Wright and Slapstick (Savoy x Reccio L), a 10-year-old Hanoverian gelding owned by Bonnie Campbell, posted a score of 67.071%. A day later in the Junior Individual Competition, Campbell-Wright recorded a score of 64.902%.
Kathryn Robinson
Kathryn Robinson of Edmonton, ON, earned wins from June 1 – 4 in Sherwood, OR in the CDIY Young Riders division. On June 2 in the Young Riders Team Competition, aboard Forget-me-Not (Valdez x Olympic Ferro), a 13-year-old Dutch Warmblood mare owned by Carol Robinson, she finished with a score of 64.804%. The next two days, the duo posted scores of 68.725% in the Young Riders Individual Competition and 70.335% in the Young Riders Freestyle to Music.
Amy Millar
In the CSI 5* MLSJ Team Competition event in Langley, BC, Amy Millar of Perth, ON, was part of the winning team, along with Great Britain’s Jessica Mendoza and USA’s Caroline Mawhinney. Aboard Christiano, (Canoso x Compliment), Millar and the 13-year-old German Warmblood gelding did their part, jumping double clear and times of 74.23 and 34.11.
Erynn Ballard

Erynn Ballard of Tottenham, ON, won a CSI 2* event in Langley, BC on May 28 while aboard Game Over (Ukato x Lord Calando). The 12-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding owned by Ilan Ferder, Ballard jumped double clear and finished with a time of 38.70, edging Ireland’s Conor Swail and Casturano (0,0, 38.79).
Hanaé Thivierge
Hanae Thivierge of Boucherville, QC, earned three victories in Ottawa, ON, from May 19 – 21 in the CDIJ. Thivierge opened the weekend in the Junior Team Competition, riding Fiorettino (Floriscount x Worldly), a 13-year-old Hanoverian gelding co-owned by Cecile Aurouze and Marion Guite, scoring 59.949%. A day later in the Junior Individual Competition, the duo finished with a score of 63.774% and concluded the weekend dancing to a 64.275% in the Junior Freestyle to Music.
Rochelle Kilberg
Rochelle Kilberg of Surrey, BC, earned a win in the CDI 3* in Sherwood, OR from June 1 – 4. Riding her own Florentino, a 13-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding, the pair danced their way to a 70.295% over USA’s Paige Ruhl and Yatzee FPF (66.735%).
Ali Ramsay
Ali Ramsay of Victoria, BC, and Bonita VH Keizershof Z (Bustique x For Pleasure), earned a win in the CSI 3* in Lexington, KY, on May 11. Ramsay guided the 12-year-old Zangersheide owned by Ramsay Equestrian Inc., to a double clear and stopped the clock at 42.42 over fellow Canadian Nicole Walker and Excellent B (0,0, 42.57).
Makayla Barta
Makayla Barta of Ottawa, ON, competed in the CSIAm-A event in Hamburg, GER, on May 18, earning the win in against the clock (large tour). Riding her own Stocantes (Stolzenberg x Contendro I), a 10-year-old Hanoverian gelding, the pair was the only pair to jump clear and finished with a time of 76.66.
Carol Robinson
Carol Robinson of Edmonton, AB, contested the CDIAm in Sherwood, OR from June 1 – 4. In the Prix St-Georges, Robinson and her own Lightfoot (Johnson TN x Florestan I), a 12-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding, finished with a score of 65.490%. A day later the duo earned another victory with a score of 61.921% in the Intermediate I and danced their way in the Intermediate I Freestyle to Music to a score of 66.130%.
Katherine Kana
Competing in her hometown of Calgary, AB, Katherine Kana took home the winning ribbon in the CSI 2* aboard her own Caviar of Picobello Z, a nine-year-old Belgian Zangersheide on June 11. The duo jumped clear and stopped the clock at 75.25 over fellow Canadian Allison Reid and Ridgetop Contierra (76.87).
Dominique Buckland
Dominique Buckland of Langley, BC, aboard Spangkaergaards Romulus (Romanov x De Noir 3), a 14-year-old Danish warmblood gelding she co-owns with Gary Buckland, posted a score of 68.088% in the CDI 1* Intermediate I and an impressive 72.610% in the CDI 1* Intermediate Freestyle to Music.
Chris von Martels
Chris von Martels of Ridgetown, ON, who now resides in Wellington, FL, earned a win in the CDI 1* Prix St-Georges in Ocala, FL, on May 25. Riding LondonCrown (LondonTime x San Amour I), a 10-year-old Hanoverian mare owned by Daniel Gauthier, the pair finished with an impressive score of 73.235%.
Sam Walker
Sam Walker of Nobleton, ON, and Starkato (Starpower x Vito V.D. Paardenwinning) earned a victory in the CSI 2* event in Calgary, AB, at Spruce Meadows on June 11. Riding the nine-year-old Dutch warmblood gelding owned by Stal van den Broek and Tal Milstein Stables, Walker guided him to clear round and a time of 66.85.
Mathilde Blais Tetreault

Mathilde Blais Tetreault of Montreal, QC, and aboard Fedor (Johnson TN x Negro), a 13-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding, owned by Laurence Blais Tetreault, secured the win in the CDI 3* Grand Prix at the Ottawa Dressage Festival from May 18 – 21, with a score of 69.109%. Two days later, the duo won the CDI 3* Grand Prix special with a score of 68.128%.
Claire Robinson
Claire Robinson of Winnipeg, MB, contested the CDIU25 division in Sherwood, OR, from June 1 – 4. On the first day in the Intermediate II, Robinson and Glamour Boy (Bojengel x Jazz), a 12-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding owned by Carol Robinson, won with a score of 68.765%. A day later in the 16-25 Grand Prix, Robinson finished with a score of 66.538% and concluded the weekend dancing to a 69.420% in the Grand Prix Freestyle to Music.
Bruno Martins Costa
Bruno Martins Costa, who resides in Maaseik, BEL, won in a CSI 2* event in Lier, BEL on June 1. Riding Sin Cindy (Casilius x Cardento), a 10-year-old Swedish Warmblood mare owned by Zanotelli Sporthorses BVBA, Martins Costa jumped clear and finished with a time of 67.46.
Eiren Crawford
Eiren Crawford of Coldstream, BC, finished with multiple wins in the CDIYH in Sherwood, OR from June 1 – 4. Competing in the Preliminary Test for five-year-old horses on June 3, Crawford and her own RF Defacto, a five-year-old Canadian Warmblood gelding finished with a score of 78.000%. On June 4, In the Young Horse test for five-year-old horses final, Crawford finished with a score of 74.000%.
Pia Fortmüller
In the inaugural FEI Ginny Rattner Memorial CDI3* at the Devonwood Equestrian Centre in Sherwood, Oregon from June 1 – 4, Canadian Pia Fortmüller made her season debut with impressive results. Aboard Frieda (Fuerstenball Old x Rouletto), a 12-year-old Hanoverian mare she co-owns with Lars Busch, Fortmüller scored a 69.109% for the win in the CDI 3* Grand Prix. Two days later, the Foothills, AB, native and Frieda again topped the leaderboard by dancing their way to a 68.106% in the CDI 3* Grand Prix Special.
Shaina Hammond
Shaina Hammond of Delta, BC, won in the CVI 3* Individual Senior Female event on May 18 in Woodside, California. With lunger, Kimberly Wellman and Wellman’s Lunar Eclipse, sired by Daisy, a 15-year-old American Warmblood mare, the duo finished with a score of 7.246.
Kyla Sorensen
Kyla Sorensen of Waterdown, ON, contested the Grade IV division in the CPEDI 2* in Ottawa, ON, from May 19 – 21. On May 20, Sorensen and her own Gandalf (Gid Up Winchester x Radjah Z), a 10-year-old gelding, topped the Test B standings with a score of 64.731%. A day later in the Intermediate Test Freestyle, the pair finished with a score of 68.250%.
Talmage Conrad
Talmage Conrad of Lethbridge, AB, contested the CVI 3* Individual Senior Male Format A event on May 18 in Woodside, California. Along with lunger Jessica Bentzen and aboard Stilton, the duo finished with a score of 7.253.
Catherine Harley
In Calgary, AB, at Spruce Meadows on June 10, native of Calgary Catherine Harley earned a victory in the CSI 2* division. While riding her own Eltano II (Escudo x Calypso II), a 17-year-old Hanoverian gelding, the pair jumped clear and finished with a time of 83.53.
Jody Schloss

Jody Schloss of Toronto, ON, earned wins in all three tests in the CPEDI 3* Para Grade I competition at the Ottawa Dressage Festival from May 18 – 21. Riding her own El Colorado, a 14-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding, scored a 72.014% in the Grand Prix A.
A day later in the Grand Prix B, Schloss and El Colorado scored an impressive 73.264%. She concluded the weekend aboard her own Lieutenant Lobin (Lobster x Fanal Prydsholm), a 19-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding, posted a 72.401% in the Grand Prix Freestyle.
Cassidy Rein
Cassidy Rein, originally from Toronto, ON, now living in Raleigh, NC, contested the CSI 2* in Kronenberg, NED and won on June 9. Riding Escorial K (Chacco’s Son x Epsom Gesmeray), a 12-year-old Oldenburg mare owned by the Rein Family LLC, the duo jumped clear and stopped the clock at 66.01.
Autumn Southorn
On May 18, Autumn Southorn of Nanaimo, BC, lunger Jessica Bentzen and Matisse, a 19-year-old gelding, owned by Debbie Bentzen, earned the victory in the CVIJ 1* – Individual Junior 1* Female event in Woodside, California. The Canadian duo posted a score of 7.073.
Beatrice Boucher

During the Ottawa Dressage Festival from May 19-21 in Ottawa, ON, Beatrice Boucher of Saint-Dominique, QC, earned the win in the CDI 1* Prix St-Georges. Riding Summerwood’s Limei (Londonderry x Weltmeyer), a 10-year-old Hanoverian mare owned by Monica von Glahn, the duo finished with a score of 71.128%.
A day later in the CDI 1* Intermediate I, Boucher and Summerwood Limei finished atop of the standings again, with a score of 71.422%.
Marley Crosby
Marley Crosby of Toronto, ON, travelled to the Nations’ capital to contest the Grade V CPEDI 2* in Ottawa, ON from May 19-21. Aboard Arpeggio (Smoke Glacken x El Prado), an 18-year-old Thoroughbred gelding owned by Steven Mock, Crosby finished with a score of 62.619% in the Intermediate Test A. In the Test B a day later, the duo finished with a score of 62.626%.
Catriona McIntosh
Catriona McIntosh of Cremona, AB, and lunger Angelique Vick earned the victory in the CVI Individual Senior 2* Female on May 18 in Woodside, California. Aboard Quest, an eight-year-old Clydesdale cross gelding co-owned by Vick and Jeanine van der Sluijs, the pair finished with a score of 6.242.
Roberta Sheffield
In Grade III competition on May 19, Roberta Sheffield of Lincolnshire, ENG, borrowed Delilah to compete in the Ottawa Dressage Festival, an 11-year-old Hanoverian mare owned by Sophie Levasseur, won the Grand Prix A with a score of 71.667%.
A day later, the duo finished on top with a score of 71.945% in the Grand Prix B and concluded the weekend with a score of 74.356% in the Grand Prix Freestyle.
Abbey Simbrow
Abbey Simbrow of Uxbridge, ON, earned the victory in the CDI 1* Intermediate I Freestyle to Music on May 21 in Ottawa, ON. Aboard Estor (Estobar NRW x Wolkenstein II), a 12-year-old Hannoverian gelding co-owned by Susan Bresler and Abbey Simbrow, the pair danced their way to a 71.592%.
Hannah Rajotte
In front of a home crowd, Hannah Rajotte of Calgary, AB, earned a victory in a CSI 2* event on June 8. Aboard Firefly W (Nabab de Reve x Voltaire), a 13-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding owned by Spruce Meadows LTD, the pair jumped clear and stopped the clock at 68.69, and a close second was Canadian Claire Wen and Angelika Hero Z (68.97).
Eleonore Elstone
Eleonore Elstone of Langley, BC, contested the Grade V division in Ottawa, ON, from May 19 – 21, while aboard Linden Ein (Lux x Wendekreis), a 19-year-old Hanoverian gelding owned by Margaret and Simone Williams. The pair started the weekend with a score of 66.197% in the Grand Prix A, then scored a 67.675% in the Grand Prix B and concluded the weekend in the Grand Prix Freestyle with a score of 71.858%.
Sutton Friesen
Sutton Friesen of Kelowna, BC, earned the victory on June 8 in Calgary, AB, in the CSI 2* event. While riding Adare Ya To (Chacoa x Coolcaum Hill), a 13-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding owned by Veritas Farms LLC, Friesen jumped clear and finished with a time of 64.61.
Taylor Wood
On June 9, Taylor Wood of Manotick, ON, was victorious in the CSI 2* in Calgary, AB, at Spruce Meadows. Aboard her own New York’s Joy (Quidam Junior x Cavalier Royale), a 10-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding, jumped double clear and finished with a time of 42.66.
A day later, Wood and her own Joyride (Unaniem x Krack C), a 13-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding, jumped double clear in the CSI 2* and stopped the clock at 36.79.
Shoshana Weiss
Shoshana Weiss of Calgary, AB, earned the win in front of a home crowd on June 10 in the CSI 2* at Spruce Meadows. Riding IB Boomerang, a 10-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding, she co-owns with Bridgetown Beat Equestrian, the pair jumped double clear and stopped the clock at 43.44 ahead of USA’s Samia Staehle and Foxtrot Semilly (44.44).
MCVC Junior Squad
On May 18 in Woodside, California, the MCVC junior squad of Daniel Klotz-Dedora (Cochrane, AB), Emily Consaul (Cochrane, AB), Emma Sparrow (Rocky Mountain House, AB), Jaydee Fluet (Sundre, AB), Katherine van den Bosch (Olds, AB) and Lynda van Noordenburg (Didsbury, AB) finished in first place in the CVIJ2*. Aboard Zorro, a 10-year-old Canadian Sport Horse owned by Jeanine van der Sluijs and Angelique Vick, and lunger Vick, earned a score of 6.765.
Joelle Trudeau
The Hudson, QC, native Joelle Trudeau earned wins in the Ottawa Dressage Festival from May 19 – 21. Aboard her own Sinclair, a 15-year-old Canadian Warmblood gelding, she scored a 66.620% in the Grade IV Grand Prix A. On Saturday, Trudeau guided Sinclair to a score of 65.901% in the Grand Prix B and concluded with a 70.292% in the Grand Prix Freestyle.
Alexandra Vadnais
At the Ottawa Dressage Festival, Alexandra Vadnais of Laval, QC, earned wins while competing in the CPEDI 2* from May 19 – 21. Competing in the Grade I division, Vadnais and her own Alaska du Fjord, a nine-year-old Irish Cob mare recorded a score of 55.750% in the Para Intermediate Test A. The next two days, the pair scored 59.583% in Test B and 62.934% in Test Freestyle.
Catherine Bridges
Catherine Bridges of Nepean, ON, competed in the CPEDI 2* Grade IV in her hometown at the Ottawa Dressage Festival from May 19-21. In the Para Intermediate Test A, Bridges and her own Dark Velvet, an 18-year-old Canadian Sport Horse mare won with a score of 67.267%.
Kim Scott
Kim Scott of Sooke, BC, earned the win in the CPEDI 2* Grade III Para Intermediate Test A on May 19 in Ottawa, ON. Riding Party Girl, a 14-year-old Canadian bred mare owned by Haley Jane Shepperd, the duo recorded a score of 62.222%. A day later in the Para Intermediate Test B, the pair finished with a 60.376%.
