The main reason that the EC Convention is so amazing is because it gives us an excuse to bring together some of Canada’s top equestrian experts under one roof. 2019 will be no different: speakers include four Canadian Olympians, eight certified Coaches, several equestrian entrepreneurs and an award-winning media specialist, just to name a few. These inspirational education sessions will cover a wide range of topics, from cross training to social media savvy, so there’s something to learn for everyone.

2. EC has a lot to offer – learn more about the programs and services that interest you!

With the Strategic Initiatives Plan 2018-2022 in full effect, many changes are underway that will have positive impacts and implications for significant growth in the Canadian equestrian community. The 2019 EC Convention will give you a detailed look into these exciting initiatives, such as coach licensing, Rookie Riders, competition alignment, and much more.
3. Mix ‘n mingle with fellow equestrian enthusiasts from across the country.

The 2019 Convention features two exciting social events – the Welcome Social & Update from EC Leadership, and the #RideToTokyo Red & White Fundraiser. Plus, you never know who you’ll end up making small talk with during our daytime sessions! Networking at these events could lead anywhere – to discovering a new interest, acquiring new client, making a new friend, or even just having the chance to be surrounded by fellow horse-crazy people who understand there’s no such thing as talking “too much” about your horse!
4. It’s the first year that EC is combining Convention with the Royal, which means double the horses and double the fun.

All 2019 Convention packages include general admission to the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, which features world-class shopping, legendary food* and plenty of inspiring entertainment and special attractions about all things agriculture! Plus, by registering for the Royal Experience Package for the EC Convention, you will receive tickets to evening performances of the Royal Horse Show to take in all the exciting action. Tickets to the Royal Horse Show can also be added on to any Convention registration package until Oct. 21.
*We wouldn’t be surprised if the potato rösti had an actual, official fan club, and who can resist an apple dumpling or three…?!
5. EC staff members will be on site, and we want to meet you!
