Jessica Prpich
Jessica Prpich of Foothills, AB and Kazou van de Kwakkelhoek (Copperfield von der Held 2106 x Toulon), a 12-year-old Belgian Warmblood mare owned by Telsec Farm Calgary LTD, impressed her hometown crowd in the CSI 2* on Sept. 4, 2022 in Calgary, AB. The duo jumped double clear and stopped the clock at 47.88 ahead of Matthew Sampson and King Lepantino of Great Britain (48.02).
Brian Morton
Brian Morton of Calgary, AB, won the CSI 2* event in front of a home crowd on Sept. 2, 2022. Aboard Firefly W (Nabab de Reve x Voltaire), a 12-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding owned by Spruce Meadows LTD, Morton jumped double clear and finished with a score of 32.10.
Jaimie Ackerman
On Aug. 12, 2022, Jaimie Ackerman and her own Driek (Lord Z x Celano), a 14-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding, jumped double clear and finished with a time of 41.22 in the CSI 3* in her hometown Vancouver, BC.
A few weeks later on Aug. 26, 2022, Ackerman and Driek, once again jumped double clear and took top spot over eight other athlete and horse combinations. The pair finished with a time of 40.29, ahead of USA’s Brooke Morin and NKH Carrdio in the CSI 2*.
Sam Walker
On July 23, 2022, Sam Walker and Eothymm de Kergane (Quinoto Bois Margot x Campo Flamingo Z), an eight-year-old Selle Francais gelding owned by Tal Milstein Stables jumped double clear to top four other athlete and horse combinations. Walker, who hails from Nobleton, ON, finished with a score of 46.28 in Caledon, ON, in the CSI 2* Grand Prix Table A.
Almost a month later on August 25, 2022 in Ottawa, ON, Walker and Evita (Canturano x Farmer), an 11-year-old Dutch Warmblood mare owned by MarBill Hill Farm, won the MLSJ CSI 5* at Wesley Clover Parks. The pair finished with times of 48.65 and 31.80. Just off his pace, Alberto Michan (ISR) and Bugatti took second for owner Eduardo Leon.
When asked, Walker was a nostalgic about his latest win at Wesley Clover. “This show is really cool because I remember showing here for my entire life,” said Walker in a Plaid Horse interview. “My parents brought me here when I was a little kid. I’ve always had great success here, and I love riding on this field.”
Shauna Cook
Shauna Cook of Sherwood Park, AB, earned a pair of wins over two weeks in multiple CSI 3* events in Vancouver, BC. On August 13, 2022, aboard Caya (Christian x Quintender 2), a nine-year-old Hanoverian mare owned by her mother Sheilagh Kelly, finished with times of 76.91 and 47.04 to earn the victory. A week later on August 20, 2022, the pair stopped the clock at 80.10 and 48.19 to capture its second win in as many weeks.
With the pair racking up the wins, she is thankful she listened to her mom. “This is my mother’s horse, and she’s the one that picked her,” Cook has said in a Jumper News interview. “I tried the horse and said, ‘Don’t buy it.’ Cook is in fact so happy with the mare she’s bred Caya via embryo transfer to her stallion, Gallup. “Thank goodness our mothers know best,” she said.
Braden James
Braden James of Pitt Meadows, BC, and GK Caamp (Connor x Calido I), an eight-year-old Holsteiner gelding owned by Stump Lake Ranch & Cattle Co., finished ahead a field of 24 athlete and horse combinations in the CSI 3* on Aug. 17, 2022 in Vancouver, BC. The pair finished with times of 52.84 and 28.12 to earn the victory.
Amy Millar
On Aug. 17, 2022, Amy Millar of Perth, ON, earned the victory aboard Christiano (Canoso x Compliment), a 12-year-old German warmblood gelding owned by Future Adventures. The pair jumped clear and finished with times of 41.97 and 31.78 in the CSI 5* MLSJ in Rockwood, ON.
William Martin

William Martin of Virgil, ON, finished with a gold medal at the North American Youth Championships in the individual junor jumping championships aboard Ricore Courcelle (Quaprice Bois x Alme), a 17-year-old Selle Francais stallion owned by Teddy Vlock. The pair incurred a two-point time penalty but in the second round, jumped clear and finished with a final score of 5.90 to secure the win.
Camille Carier Bergeron
During the weekend of Sept. 2-4, 2022, Camille Carier Bergeron captured three wins in the CDI U25 in Bromont, QC. While in the saddle of Sound of Silence 4 (San Amour I x Limes), a 14-year-old Westphalian gelding owned by Gilles Bergeron, finished with a score of 70.833 in the Intermediate II.
On Sept. 3, the pair finished with 70.697% in the Grand Prix 16 – 25 and on the third day, finished with a score of 73.592 in the Grand Prix Freestyle to Music.
Madelaine Riddle
On August 10, 2022, Madelaine Riddle of Sherwood Park, AB, and Fair Katie VDH (VDL Zircco Blue x Indoctro), a 12.-year-old Dutch warmblood mare owned by Brian Vander Helm, captured the win on Aug. 10, 2022 in the CSI 3* in Vancouver, BC. The pair finished with times of 45.86 and 38.84 finish atop of the leaderboard.
Three days later, the pair finished atop of the leaderboard again, jumping double clear and finishing with a time of 49.50.
Chris Sorensen
Chris Sorensen of Caledon, ON, and Hermie DLT (Cantos x Padinus), a 10-year-old Dutch warmblood mare co-owned by Lulav Group LLC and Sorensen Stables, earned the win in the CSI 1* Grand Prix Table A on Aug. 6, 2022 in Opglabbleek, Belgium. The pair jumped double clear and finished with a time of 36.85.
Jacqueline Steffens Daly
Jacqueline Steffens Daly of Harriston, ON, and Cat Ninja (VDL Zircco Blue x Corland), a 14-year-old Dutch Warmblood mare owned by Eye Candy Jumpers earned the win in the CSI 5* MLSJ on Aug. 6, 2022 in Traverse City, Mich. The pair jumped double clear and finished with times of 74.73 and 46.46.
Sean Jobin
On July 22, Sean Jobin of Toronto, ON, and Cuba Libre V (Cornet Obolensky x Ghalshueter), a 11-year-old Westphalian mare, owned by Foxridge Farms Stables, earned the victory at in the CSI 3* in Tryon, NC,. The duo stopped the clock at 62.44.

Ashlynn Crowley of Norwood, ON, and her own Hilly VD Horse Z (Harley x Contender), a seven year old Belgian warmblood mare, earned the victory with a time of 39.97 in Farewell Competition on August 13 in Traverse City, Mich.
Susan Horn
Susan Horn of Bolton, ON, and Dominka van de Lucashoeve (Cardento 933 x Chin Chin), a 13-year-old Belgian Sport Horse owned by Kingsfield Farm, earned the win on July 21 in Caledon, ON in the CSI 2* Table A. The pair jumped double clear and finished with a time of 40.01.
Bianca Lafontaine
On July 20, Bianca Lafontaine of Montreal, QC, and Koblenz (Arezzo VDL x Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve), a Dutch warmblood mare owned by South Shore Farm, finished atop of the leaderboard. The pair finished with times of 48.41 and 36.52.
Cassidy Rein
Cassidy Rein, originally from Toronto, ON, and Escorial K (Chacco’s Son x Epsom Gesmeray), an 11-year-old Oldenburg mare owned by Jacqueline Felber, earned the win on July 15, 2022, in the CSI 1* in Valkenswaard, NED. The pair would stop the clock at 23.45 and jump clear ahead of her mother Tata Dow Rein and Hokyra Fortuna (24.66).
A day later, the pair would finish atop of the leaderboard with a time of 59.79.
Lori Bell
Lori Bell of Beaverton, ON, and Flirt (Florencio x Donnerhall), a 14-year-old Oldenburg gelding she co-owns with Denis Rodet, earned a victory in the CDI 2* Intermediate II in Rockwood, ON, with a score of 70.147%. The pair would earn another win on Sept. 2, with a score of 70.441% in CDI 2* Intermediate II in Bromont, QC.
Rebecca Mcgoldrick
Rebecca Mcgoldrick, a Canadian residing in Banbridge, GBR, bested a field of 50 athlete and horse combinations on July 14 in the CSI 3* in Samorin, SVK, after her time finished atop of the leaderboard, while riding her 15-year-old Belgian warmblood gelding Horatio van Erpekom (Kannan x Udarco van Overis).
Jacqueline Brooks
On July 24, Jacqueline Brooks of Cedar Brook, ON, and Quel Filou (Quatergold x Furst Heinrich), a nine-year-old Oldenburg gelding owned by Mary Brooks, earned the win in the CSI 2* Intermediate I Freestyle to Music in Rockwood, ON, with a score of 70.508%.
On Sept. 2, the pair finished with a win again in the CDI 1* Prix St-Georges in Bromont, QC, finishing with a score of 67.794%. Two days later in the CDI 1* Intermediate I Freestyle to Music, they finished with a score of 68.858%.
Camille Duhaime
Camille Duhaime of St Denis de Brompton, QC, and her own Romero (Royal Blend x Noble Roi XX), a 15-year-old Hanoverian gelding, earned a score of 60.833% on Sept. 2 in the CDIY Young Riders Team Competition in Bromont, QC.
The following day, Duhaime and Romero finished with a score of 62.010 in the Young Riders Individual Competition. On the final day, the pair danced to a score of 63.150% in the Young Riders Freestyle to Music.
Hanae Thivierge
Hanae Thivierge of Boucherville, QC, and Fiorettino (Floriscount x Worldly), a 12-year-old Hanoverian gelding owned by Cecile Aurouze and Marion Guite, posted winning scores of 61.515% (Sept. 2), 63.578% (Sept. 3) and 65.992% (Sept. 4) in the Junior Competition, Junior Individual Competition and Junior Freestyle to Music, respectively, in Bromont, QC.
Mathilde Blais Tetreault
On Sept. 3, in the CDI 2* Grand Prix in Bromont, QC, Mathilde Blais Tetreault of Montreal, QC, and Fedor (Johnson TN x Negro), a 12-year-old Dutch warmblood gelding owned by Laurence Blais Tetreault, earned the victory with a score of 67.645%.
Melanie Thomson
On Sept. 3, Melanie Thomson of Campbellcroft, ON, and Gatsby, a 13-year-old Hanoverian gelding owned by Anna May McCloskey, earned the victory with a score of 69.069% in the CDI 1* Intermediate I in Bromont, QC.
Kiara Williams-Brown
Kiara Williams-Brown of Navan, ON, and Herdeiro Santana (Dragon Comando SN x Solar Dos Pinhais), an 11-year-old Lusitano gelding, earned wins in Rockwood, ON, in the CDI J in the Junior Team Competition (66.010%) on July 22, Junior Individual Competition (65.392%) on July 23 and Junior Freestyle to Music (69.850%) on July 24.
Isabella Bender
Isabella Bender of Burlington, ON, and Bacara da Broa (Quinteiro da broa MV x Impossivel BN), a 16-year-old Lusitano gelding owned by Alegre Dressage Inc., earned a win on July 22 in the CDI U25 Intermediate II with a score of 63.726%.
A day later, the pair would record a score of 56.239% in the CDI U25 Grand Prix 16 – 25.
Beatrice Boucher
On July 22, Beatrice Boucher of St. Dominique, QC, and Summerwood’s Limei (Londonderry x Weltmeyer), a nine-year-old Hanoverian mare owned by Monica Von Glahn earned a win in the CDI 2* Prix-St-Georges in Rockwood, ON.
A day later, the pair would capture another victory in the CDI 2* Intermediate I with a score of 70.735%.
Kimberley Begin
Kimberley Begin of Ste Marthe, QC, and her own Ballinagore Rock Quality, a 14-year-old Irish Sport Horse earn the win in the CCI 3*-S in Bromont, QC from Aug. 18 – 20. The pair posted a score of 36.8 in dressage, a cross country time of 34.8 and 12 obstructions in jumping for a score of 103.6.
Kerry Groot
Kerry Groot of Summerland, BC, and her own Borasco (Bravo x First Class), a 13-year-old Oldenburg gelding earned the victory in a field of 15 combinations from July 21 – 23 in the CCI 3*-S in Kalispell, MT. The pair recorded a score of 38.3 in the dressage, 5.6 in cross country and a 0 in the jumping phase for a score of 43.9.
