Pia Fortmuller of Foothills, AB, earned wins in back-to-back days at the Desert Dressage II in Thermal, CA from Nov. 18 – 19. Riding Kartsevo Goldfinch (Jazz x Lingh), an 11-year-old Dutch warmblood gelding she co-owns with Dagmar Fortmuller, the pair finished with a score of 66.652% in the CDI 3* Grand Prix over USA’s Shannon Peters (62.217%).

A day later, the Canadian duo finished atop of the CDI 3* Grand Prix Special with a score of 65.383%, again over Peters and Disco Inferno (63.659%).

Kara Chad

Kara Chad of Millarville, AB, earned the win in the CSI YH1* in Olivia, Spain on Nov. 23. Riding Gability van de Eijkhof Z (sired by George Z), a six-year-old Belgian warmblood mare owned by S.A.R.L Stone Ridge Farms, Chad guided her to zero faults and a time of 41.61, beating second place Christopher Smith and Carlisle from Great Britain (41.95).

Alison Campbell-Wright

Alison Campbell-Wright of Victoria, BC, took home the victory in the CDIJ – Junior Freestyle to Music on Nov. 20 in Thermal, CA. Riding Bonnie Campbell’s Slapstick (Savoy x Reccio L), a nine-year-old Hanoverian gelding, the pair finished with an impressive score of 69.150%.

Claire Robinson of Edmonton, AB, earned the victory in the CDI U25 Intermediate II on Nov. 18 at the Desert Dressage II in Thermal, CA. Riding Glamour Boy (Bojengel x Jazz), an 11-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding, owned by Carol Robinson, the duo earned a score of 67.265%. A day later on Nov. 19, the pair finished with a score of 64.256% in the CDI U25 Grand Prix 16-25.
