Va donc jouer | Campaign to promote sports and outdoor federations

An initiative of the Government of Quebec, the “Va donc jouer!” campaign is being deployed throughout the province, led by spokesperson Pierre-Yves Lord. It aims to promote the pleasure of being active and the immediate benefits of practicing a sport or an outdoor activity, while directing citizens to refer to the 70 sports and outdoor federations to which Cheval Québec belongs.

Various advertisements have been put in place and event activations are being held until Feb. 15, 2020. Cheval Québec is participating until Oct. 4, 2019, in the “First Fridays” event on the Plaza of Montreal’s Olympic Stadium, with its mascot P’tit Trot and an experimental area with the Rookie Rider program. A family activity of choice, this is an opportunity to direct clients to Équi-Qualité certified centres and raise awareness of the importance of dealing with National Coaching Certification Program certified professionals.

A portal bringing together all the sports and outdoor federations is now online at www.vadoncjouer.ca.

Horse breeding | Renewed programming | Futurités 2019

All Over the Map – August 2019

Organized by Cheval Québec, Futurités 2019, the horse breeding event in the province of Quebec, will take place at the Bécancour Equestrian Complex as a two-part event over two weekends.

On Sept. 14-15, 2019, foals and fillies of eight breeds (Appaloosa, Arabian, Belgian, Canadian Sport Horse, Clydesdale, Miniature Horse, Percheron, Welsh Pony) will be judged through conformation and performance tests. New in 2019, Paint Horse and Quarter Horse breeders will present their horses at barrel racing, reining and western performance demonstrations.

In addition, warmblood breeds are making their debut in the program and for the occasion, Les Futurités 2019 has joined forces with the Equimania event, which will be held on Oct. 25-27, 2019 at the Bécancour Equestrian Complex. Breeders will have the opportunity to present their three- and four-year-old subjects in a model and pace event.

A unique event in Quebec, Les Futurités 2019 showcases the quality of the work of breeders and the horses they present on the market. To learn more about the program and schedule, visit http://cheval.quebec/Futurites-Accueil.
