EC’s Official Nutrition Partner extends collaboration through 2029
Ottawa, ON, May 21, 2026 – Equestrian Canada (EC) is excited to announce the renewal of its partnership with Mad Barn, Canada’s leader in equine nutrition research, education, and products.
Since 2023, Mad Barn has supported Team Canada’s high-performance horses with individualized nutrition and management strategies designed to meet the demands of training, travel, and major international competition. This year, Mad Barn has renewed and increased its investment in EC, becoming a Silver-level sponsor.
Mad Barn will continue as the Official Nutrition Partner of Equestrian Canada, supporting National Team program horses through individualized diet analysis, ration balancing, travel and training adjustments, and performance tracking. National Team programs will also have on-demand access to Mad Barn’s nutritionists and veterinarians, who can assist with biometric monitoring, including interpreting heart-rate data, to help assess each horse’s fitness, recovery, and readiness to perform.
As part of the partnership, Equestrian Canada and Mad Barn will also collaborate on educational resources to help the equestrian community make informed decisions about equine nutrition. Planned initiatives include monthly articles, webinars, and in-person seminars focused on practical, evidence-based nutrition practices.
Mad Barn will also provide special promotions for EC Sport Licence Holders, including social media contests and exclusive offers, helping make high-quality nutrition support more accessible to horse owners across Canada.
