Qualification marks a major milestone for Canadian dressage on the world stage.
Ottawa, ON, March 20, 2026 — One of Canada’s most accomplished dressage athletes Brittany Fraser Beaulieu and her exceptional partner Jaccardo, owned by Jill Irving, have officially qualified for the 2026 FEI Dressage World Cup™ Final, to be held April 7–12, 2026 in Fort Worth, Texas, USA.
This achievement makes Fraser Beaulieu the first Canadian rider since 2013 to earn a spot among the world’s top dressage athletes in the prestigious Final, a highlight of the international equestrian calendar. The FEI Dressage World Cup™ Final brings together 18 of the world’s best horse / rider combinations from global leagues, and only three combinations from the North American League earn qualification — a testament to the skill, dedication, and competitive excellence of this partnership.
Fraser Beaulieu and Jaccardo clinched their qualification through a series of remarkable performances in the 2025/2026 FEI Dressage World Cup™ North American League, consistently earning high scores and points throughout key CDI-W qualifiers across North America. A standout runner up finish with a personal best freestyle score at the 2026 Adequan® Global Dressage Festival in Wellington, Florida in February solidified their ranking among the top combinations in the League.

Owned by Jill Irving (with Brittany, below), Jaccardo, a 12 year old KWPN gelding (Desperado × Jazz), has rapidly become one of the most promising Grand Prix horses on the international scene. His expressive movement and powerful presence have captivated judges and audiences alike, helping elevate Canadian dressage.
“We are incredibly proud of Brittany Fraser Beaulieu and Jaccardo on this remarkable achievement,” said Christine Peters the Senior Manager Dressage – Olympic and Paralympic Program. “Qualifying for the FEI Dressage World Cup™ Final is a testament to Brittany’s dedication, Jaccardo’s extraordinary talent, and the strong support system behind them. We also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Jill Irving whose commitment and belief in Canadian dressage have been invaluable in helping our athletes reach the international stage. Moments like this inspire the entire Canadian dressage community and signal a bright future for our team.”

The 2026 FEI Dressage World Cup™ Final will take place at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas from April 7–12, 2026, alongside the FEI Jumping World Cup™ Final — a world class celebration of top level equestrian sport.
